The Olympic Museum of Puerto Rico opened its doors for the first time in 1987 to safeguard and disseminate the sports achievements of Puerto Rico.<\/p>\n

Cuenta conjgiones tem\u00e1ticas. La primera sala dedicada a Eugenio Guerra Cruz, corredor de eventos de velocidad, entrenador universitario y de delegaciones nacionales por 28 a\u00f1os, presenta la m\u00e1s reciente exhibici\u00f3n 90 a\u00f1os del Olimpismo\n Puertorrique\u00f1o 1930-2020. Las otras dos salas relatan nuestra historia ol\u00edmpica durante el Siglo XX y fueron denominadas Sala Julio Enrique Monagas (Director de la Oficina Gubernamental de Parques y Recreo desde el 1941 al 1965)\n y la Sala Germ\u00e1n Rieckehoff Sampayo (Primer puertorrique\u00f1o miembro del Comit\u00e9 Internacional Ol\u00edmpico y Presidente del Comit\u00e9 Nacional desde el 1977 al 1990).<\/p>\n

The Museum is dedicated to the collection, preservation, documentation and promotion of Puerto Rican sports material through the permanent and temporary exhibitions for the educational benefit of the Puerto Rican people.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n
