Piedra Chiquita

Piedra Chiquita

DESCRIPTION

A mountain climbing park, with various rock formations that resemble the unique wild nature of the “Piedras Chiquitas” area in the valuable national nature reserve known as Monte Oscuro de Salinas. Technically, it is designed for the exercise, competition and recreational enjoyment of the entire family.

Within the foliage of tropical palms, there is a monumental rock, 55 feet high, with the Olympic flag waving majestically at its top. A taut cable anchored on its side helps the climber on the way up and down, by means of a safe system of harnesses and pulleys, for a distance of 290 feet.

For more information see our Park Regulations.
